Ribs n Rump, Hoo Haa! There is something really manly about eating ribs. It’s a mans opportunity to go back to the caveman days, where they huddled around the campfire picking at bits of Sabertooth Tiger that they’ve just hunted down with their bare hands.

Fortunately, these days the only hunting you do is going through your wallet for cash. My experience at any Ribs n Rump restaurant has always been great. Good food and lots of it. Although I should clarify that when I say ‘good’ I mean good tasting, because the food is definitely not good for your health!

For that reason alone, it had been a while since I had eaten here. I ordered a 1/2 kg of Lamb Rack with chips and waited in anticipation. When the food came and I dug in, I was very disappointed. Normally the ribs are quite lean with lots of meat, however today it was full of fatty bits! Not just here and there but almost half my meal was just fat.

For the first time ever, I walked away without finishing my Rack of Lamb and I swore to myself that I’ll never come back. One week later and I’m already eager to give it another crack! What can I say? Blame it on my ancestors! :)
