The Snag Stand is another brilliant new addition to the recently renovated Westfield food court on Pitt Street Mall in Sydney. I absolutely love the decor of this take away! With a myriad of fancy typography written across large black wooden panels, you can’t help but start selecting your next meal as you walk past.

It also helps that the sausages are cooked right in front of you, so the aroma alone is inviting enough for you to start ordering.During our visit today, we selected the following snags from the menu:

Greek – Lamb, Rosemary & Oregano ($9.90)
Grilled and served on a toasted poppy seed roll with fresh tomato, onion and olive salsa, crumbled feta and tzatziki.

This snag was delicious! The sausage itself was nice and hot and the tzatziki with feta cheese made it taste even better! On it’s own the snag is actually very filling, however, I do recommend you try the fries. These were absolutely YUMMY!

Australia Fare ($7.90)
Beef and tomato sausage on a toasted brioche roll with sauteed onions, chedder cheese and beerenberg tomato sauce.

This snag tasted alright but it didn’t have any oomph. After tasting the Greek snag first, I couldn’t help but feel that the Beef snag was a little bland.

Never fear, though, as there are many MANY more snags to try from on the menu. Bring on the next visit to Westfield Sydney!
