Eating in Sydney – Restaurant & Cafe Reviews

Sushi Samurai – Pyrmont, Japanese Restaurant Review

It’s been such a long time since my last blog post (sorry)! I’ve just become so busy with work and life lately that I’m finding it really difficult to continue with my periodic restaurant reviews. So instead of abandoning it altogether – like I have the last several months – I’ve decided to at least post the photos of my eating endeavours, and where I can, write a super short, quick review. So here goes…

Sushi Samurai in Pyrmont is a quaint little Japanese restaurant, set a few blocks back from the hustle and bustle of the Darling Harbour foreshore. It’s location in and amongst residential apartments makes it very easy to miss, yet the restaurant seems to be busy almost every time I walk past.

My guess is because people, including myself, love the food here. Aside from the fresh Sashimi and yummy Crispy Prawn Dumplings, my favourite dish here has got to be the Kaarage Chicken. In fact, I’d go as far as to say it is the best tasting Karaage Chicken I’ve had in Sydney! Beautifully textured on the outside and perfectly succulent and juicy on the inside – oh and jammed packed with flavour too!

Do check it out!
